Fair & Balanced

Since Rusty posted his picture of Barack Obama, I felt obligated to draw a picture of John McCain.

Steven Spielberg is planning to make a movie about the time McCain tried to contact his people using a Speak 'N Spell, but got drunk and eventually ended up flying in the basket of a bicycle while some men with guns photoshopped into Walkie Talkies watched from down below.

Mr. Linkletter

I've been reading John K's blog. He's the creator of Ren and Stimpy and a supersmart guy. (He's currently got a post up about one of Noby's favorite cartoons, Rock and Rule.) It's nice to read his stuff because he writes it for potential future animators and artists, but since I'm not one of those, I can enjoy what he says without having to do any work as a result!

All that was to say that he's gotten me doodling, and I'm sharing some of those doodles with you here, because happy drawings make happy people happier. I figure if I had taken art in high school, I could have received at least a B plus.

If you don't know who this is supposed to be, I've failed. This isn't an endorsement, by the way, just a drawing.

Some Stimpies and some old-fashioned kids (and a typical Rusty drawing).

Some Snoops da Doops.

Mostly Simpsons.

A pretty good Daffy Duck, though really this is Jealous Duck. Daffy became less Daffy in his later years, unfortunately. Not nearly as much "whoo hoo! whoo hoo!" and instead more "You're despicable." I prefer the daffy one.

My favorite, a Fred Flintstone that could kick your ass. Something evil about this guy. Look at that neck! He's tougher than Tony Soprano.

P.S. I noticed we have a "follower" (something I didn't know you could do), so I put a thing on the side to make it more apparent that you can be our disciple if you like.

"Jimmy" / "The Thing"?

If anyone (besides Noby) knows why The Thing is up there, you earn both my respect and my sympathy.
